Congratulations 2012 Spelling Bee Winners!

 

10th place:  Payton Stone (6^th grade)

9th place:   Adam Thiesman (7^th grade)

8th place:   Anna Schneider (7^th grade)

7th place:   Megan Kelley (5^th grade)

6th place:   Dominic Tarantino (7^th grade)

5th place:   Mackenzie Olsen (7^th grade)

4th place:   Ethan Welch (7^th grade)

3rd place:   Louis Williams (6^th Grade)

2nd place:  Logan Klein (6^th grade)

1st place:    Grace Sawchuk (8^th grade)

 

     The final between Logan and Grace took 17 rounds!!!  Grace finally won by spelling “insulation” correctly!  Grace and Logan will compete on February 10, 2012 at Washington Middle School for the Tazewood Conference Spelling Bee.  Both students will represent us (Grace will actually be the only one spelling) at the Tazewell County Spelling Bee at Tremont Middle School on February, 24, 2012.

St. Patrick School students in grades 5-8 recently participated in the National Geographic Society's "Geography Bee" at the school.  The Top Three school winners were:  (left to right)
